Who we are

This website is run by Bosworth Group Ltd, trading as AEGIS Professional and Catering Equipment Spares ("we", "us"). We are registered in England and Wales, company no. 16245738, registered office 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE. We are the controller of the personal data described here and are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration no. ZC015057. What we collect

  • Warranty registration details: your name, business name, email, phone, address, postcode, product model, serial number, purchase date, where you bought it, and any proof of purchase you upload.
  • Details you send us through our contact form or by email.
  • Your email address if you choose to sign up for marketing emails.
  • Website usage data through cookies, with your consent for analytics and marketing cookies.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To register your product, administer your warranty, verify claims, and contact owners about product safety notices or recalls: our legitimate interests, and legal obligation where product-safety law requires it.
  • To handle a warranty claim: performance of a contract.
  • To send marketing emails: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link.
  • Analytics and marketing cookies: your consent.

Who we share it with

Shopify, which hosts this website; Google, our email provider; couriers who deliver swap-out units; and our professional advisers. We may check registrations against order records held by our sister brand Catering Equipment Spares, which is part of the same company. We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or other approved safeguards.

How long we keep it

  • Warranty registrations and proof-of-purchase files: up to 7 years from your purchase date, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Warranty claim records: 6 years after the claim is closed.
  • Marketing data: until you unsubscribe. We keep a suppression list so we don't email you again.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email us at the address above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
